Meysi is a tiny terrier who lives in Poland may be the world's smallest dog, according to the Polish newspaper the Gazeta Jarocinska. Meysi weighed just 1.58 ounces at birth three months ago, and doctors didn't think she would ever survive.

"The worst was the first six weeks," Anna Pohl, Meysi's owner, told the Gazeta Jarocinska. "[I got] zero sleep. I was feeding her day and night, every half hour. Sometimes I ran out of strength, had to call out of work."

Meysi grew to 3.25 ounces, her current weight, but doctors do not expect her to grow much more - meaning the title of World's Smallest Dog, issued by the Guinness Book of World Records, will be close between Meysi and Beyonce.

Both dogs will try to take the title from the current holder, a female Chihuahua named Heaven Sent Brandy, who is only 6 inches long.
