Pa. Woman Shot Over Cigarette: Police Say Teens Killed Kayla Peterson For A Smoke
A Pa. woman shot over a cigarette was in the wrong place at the wrong time, according to police. The Pa. woman shot over a cigarette was targeted after she told the teens to "get a job" when she saw them trying to bum a cigarette off of her boyfriend.
Police in Beaver Falls, Penn. have charged 3 teenagers, 14-year-olds Todavia Cleckley and Marcus Velasquez and 13-year-old Kyle Goosby Jr. with conspiracy to commit murder and other charges in the wake of the Kayla Peterson shooting on Saturday.

William Bailey, Peterson's fiancée, said he saw the teens shoot and kill Kayla Peterson over a cigarette after she yelled at the teens who had followed him home, asking for cigarettes along the way.
"I didn't acknowledge them. I didn't look at them," Bailey said, according to the Pocono Record. "I pretended I didn't hear them."
When the teens got to the door, Bailey recalled Peterson yelling "Why don't you guys get a job?"
The teens then fired, killing Peterson. The police are charging all of the teens involved, and all are facing a long jail sentence.
Goolsby was arrested on Monday, police said, but the other two teens remain at large. Police said the suspects are "armed and dangerous. I'd like to see them off the street."
Bailey told the Pocono Record that he is struggling to cope with the loss of Kayla Peterson, and said he is having a hard time explaining her death to their two-year-old daughter.
"She really was the rock of our family," Bailey said. "I don't know what I'm going to do."
