Lane gets ready for court proceedings in Geauga County Common Pleas Court in Chardon, Ohio on Tuesday as he wears a "killer" T-shirt. Prosecutors say he took a .22-caliber pistol and a knife to Chardon High School and fired 10 shots at a group of students in the cafeteria, killing Daniel Parmertor and Demetrius Hewlin, both 16, and Russell King Jr., 17. Shooter T.J. Lane, who wore a T-shirt with the word "killer" on it while appearing in court on Tuesday morning, was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of three teenagers at Chardon High School in Ohio on Feb. 27, 2012, according to reports.

Before his sentence, Lane, surprisingly wearing a white T-shirt with the word "killer" written across the front, went against the recommendation of his counsel and gave a short statement to those present in the courtroom, including the victims' families. He ended it by saying "F*** all of you" followed by raising his middle finger toward the victims' family members.

"This hand that pulled the trigger that killed your sons now masturbates to the memory," he said in his statement. "F*** all of you."

Lane smiled periodically as a shooter who wore a "killer" T-shirt and showed little remorse for his actions, according to Fox8 Cleveland.

In February 2012, Lane, who was then 17, entered Chardon High School, which is east of Cleveland, and opened fire, killing Daniel Parmertor and Demetrius Hewlin, both 16, and Russell King Jr., 17. Three other students were wounded. On Feb. 27, 2012, Lane pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated murder, two counts of attempted aggravated murder and one count of felonious assault. Because he was a juvenile at the time he went on his killing spree, Lane couldn't face the death penalty.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported that gasps were heard around the courtroom right after Lane made his statement and some in the gallery even began to cry.

"You're really lucky there's so many police in this room," said Holly Walczak, the mother of shooting victim Nick Walczak, who was left paralyzed, during her statement before Geauga County Common Pleas Judge David Fuhry sentenced Lane. "Because of you, our quiet little town will never be the same. Why? Why did you do it? Why?"

Dina Parmertor, the mother of Danny Parmertor's mother, said: "You're a pathetic excuse for a human being. In fact you're not even human. You're a monster."

"I want you to be ensured years and years of pain, which in my opinion is not enough. You don't deserve to take another breath while my 16-year-old son lies in the ground because of your cold, disgusting actions."

"You're a weak, pathetic, vile coward."
