Talk about a real cat fight!

A man suing a cat owner in a Chicago suburb is seeking $100k for injuries he sustained while catsitting the frenzied feline while its owner was away. William Baxter filed suit against Christine Baxter for injuries sustained to his face, arms and ring finger. The twist in the 'man sues cat owner story is that the plantiff and the defendant appear to have been married to each other.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports that a Facebook profile for a Billy Baxter, of Homer Glen, indicates he is married to a Christine "Bobak" Baxter, of Homer Glen. But it was uncertain whether the Baxter and Bobak involved in the lawsuit are that couple or whether they are married.

William Baxter's Chicago attorney, Michael Shammas, declined to give details on the case when asked about the possible marriage link in the "man sues cat owner" case.

"That's not something I really want to get into and talk about ... I'd rather keep it in the courthouse," he said.

The "man sues cat owner" case was filed on March 22, but the alleged attack took place in 2011. Mokena Patch reports that, according to the suit, Baxter was attempting to feed the cat when the feline, "without provocation, viciously attacked, bit and clawed."

The suit also said that Baxter "will in the future continue to suffer."

And for everyone who thinks the "man sues cat owner" case is total BS, just take a look at this video to see what kind of damage a cat can do to a full-grown man. (Skip to :53 for the horrific screaming)
