Wynonna Husband Walks Again! Michael Scott Moser Triumphs After Losing Leg In Motorcycle Crash
Country music superstar Wynonna's husband walks again, thanks to a prosthetic leg that replaced the limb he lost in a horrific motorocycle crash in August. Michael Scott "Cactus" Moser walked Monday for the first time in eight months and was backstage with Wynonna during her performance on "Dancing With The Stars." And although it's inspiring that Wynonna's husband walks again, the singer says the journey from accident to up-and-walking wasn't an easy one.

"It's been an emotional ride for me this week," she told People Magazine. "It freaked me out because I've seen him in a wheelchair and using a walker, and he just walked towards me and I was like, 'Wow.' I was so stunned. I saw the wreck, I saw him lose the leg."
And although Wynonna's husband walks again on a new prosthetic leg, the singer said it was her husband's attitude that is truly responsible for him being on his feet again.
"He's so positive," she said. "I call him Mr. Happy-Go-Lucky. It's really irritating, because sometimes I just want to complain or act tired about dancing, and he'll say, 'But you're moving and you're looking so great.' I'm like, 'Go talk to Tony. You guys are so alike.' "
On Monday's episode Wynonna and her husband got to meet Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen, another amputee who overcame his injuries to return to his former glory. Allen lost his arm in a car accident in 1984 but managed to rejoin Def Leppard after years of rehab taught him to use a modified drum kit to bang out classic tunes like "Pour Some Sugar On Me" without missing a beat. Wynonna and her dancing partner, Tony Dovolani, danced to the hit on Monday but received low scores. However, Wynonna said that between her husband walking again, the inspiration of Rick's example and Todd's hard work she doesn't feel discouraged.
"When you give every fiber of your being to the cause and you come out like I did tonight and you look out and you see Rick from Def Leppard sitting there and you look at Tony, who's the world champion, and my husband's sitting there and he just got his new leg the day before yesterday, "Judd told OTRC.com. "I'm more than a number on a scale, I'm more than a number on a chart and I'm more than a number that the judges gave me' and that's all I can do."
