Carnival Ship Overboard Incident: Triumph Guard Missing Amid 80 MPH Winds [VIDEO]
Carnival ship Triumph loses a guard after massive winds in Mobile, Alabama, caused the security shack near the docked vessel to blow over on Wednesday, April 3. According to reports, two security guards fell into the water. One remains missing, reports CNN.
The Carnival Triumph is the infamous cruise ship that was immobilized in the Gulf of Mexico after an engine room fire in February. The Carnival ship remained in the docks to receive necessary repair. However, Wednesday winds have caused the Carnival ship to break loose from its unit dock. What's more, the Carnival Triumph suffered exterior damage in the process.

Coast Guard officials announced the incident occurred at approximately 1:45 p.m. CT. One guard was quickly pulled back to safety without any reported injuries. However, CNN reports that a second guard is still missing.
Carnival spokeswoman Joyce Oliva denies the report from CNN, claiming all Carnival crew and contractors are accounted for.
"The ship broke loose and started to move out," described a witness. "He said a tugboat attempted to bring the Triumph back in, but the tugboat got lodged between the Triumph and another ship. Carnival spokesman Vance Gulliksen said the ship drifted and is now resting against a cargo vessel."
