"Without just cause or provocation, Joselyn Wohl intentionally struck, battered and assaulted Rahman," according to court piapers filed in Bronx Supreme Court. Rahman's attorney, Eric richman, said the heiress accused of stabbing his client could've done serious damage to him if he hadn't reacted quickly.

"It was a defensive move. If he hadn't gotten his hand up, she would have stabbed him in the face," Richman told the NY Post.

After the alleged attack, Rahman claims he was told by Wohl's father that his medical expenses would taken care of as long as he didn't report the incident to police. Richman said the promised money never materialized, and that Rahman, now unemployed, owes thousands of dollars as a result.

"Sajjadur lost his job because he didn't want to go back there after that to ensure his safety," Richman said.

This isn't the first time the heiress accused of stabbing has faced assault accusations. In December, Joselyn was charged with assault for choking her sobriety coach and then shoving her down a flight of concrete stairs. The alleged victim, Heather McKean, filed a lawsuit against the Wohl family following an attack that left her so badly injured she needed a spinal fusion to help her recovery.

"Joselyn wanted to go out and do something not in her best interest, and Heather was trying to talk her down," McKean's attorney Bryan Swerling told the NY Post. "Heather began to walk up the stairs. She felt a tug on the back of her shirt, and it was Joselyn attacking her."Once she fell down the stairs, McKean said the heiress accused of stabbing Rahman jumped on top of her and started choking her. McKean managed to escape and called police.

Wohl is said to struggle with substance abuse, a possible explanation for her erratic, violent behavior.
