Bus Crash Kills 45: Taliban Responsible For Death Of Women And Children In Afghanistan [VIDEO]
A bus crash kills 45 and injures 10 in southern Afghanistan when the shuttle collided into a wrecked oil tanker that was deliberately left in the middle of a narrow road located near the border of Kandahar and Helmand. The bus was supposed to travel from the capital of Helmand province and stop at Kandahar city before reaching the Afghan capital of Kabul. The oil tanker was initially attacked by Taliban insurgents.
A highly volatile area, the police consider the region too dangerous to enter. The accident occurred just before sunrise on Friday. The bus struck the oil tanker and was immediately consumed in flames.

Despite efforts from soldiers and ambulance to arrive at the crash site, the desolate region is not easy to reach. By the time investigators could examine the wreckage, many victims were already burned beyond recognition.
Mohammad Habib managed to survive the terrible wreck. Overwhelmed with grief, Habib pleaded:
"I don't care about my belongings and money that were burned inside the bus, but please help me find my brother, dead or alive. How will I face my mother without him?"
According to EuroNews, women and children are among the lives tragically lost in the bus crash.
