Investigators say they have located the car and driver they were looking for in connection with the three bodies found on Sunday on a rural farm in Kansas. According to Fox 4 Kansas City, police have stated that the car was a Toyota Corolla, and that the person or people police were interested in have been located.

Three bodies were found on a farm in eastern Kansas, two adult males and one female, and neighbors and friends fear the female body might be Kaylie Bailey, a young mother who went missing last week along with her 18-month-old baby.

On Sunday, three friends of the man who lived on the property headed there, calling the police after detecting a foul oder. The police did a search and found nothing suspicious, attributing the smell to rotting trash. The next day, two of the friends returned to the farm where they found a tarp with a cinder block on top of it in the garage.

"I reached down and saw teeth through the square in the cinder block," said Kortni McGill, one of the friends.

The body they found beneath the tarp had decayed, and on top of the tarp they found baby clothes. Outside the garage, McGill says she saw a burn barrel with baby clothes, a bottle, and a sleeping bag inside it. Nearby, she found baby socks. The police later found the other two bodies.

Kaylie Bailey and her daughter Lana were reported missing on Friday. McGill, along with Shona Osladil, who was also present when the searchers found the first body, said that Bailey knew the man who lived on the farm, and that Bailey had planned to drop her daughter at the farm on Wednesday-the last day either of them were seen.

"We are waiting for confirmation that it may or may not be Kaylie, and once we know, it will determine what direction we go from there," said Brad Caldwell, a police sergeant from Bailey's town.

Caldwell added that an Amber Alert has not been issued for Lana, the missing baby, since there is no indication that she was abducted.

The police have not released the names of the two deceased males.
