Netherlands UFO Image Is Authentic: Photographer Corinne Federer Shares Picture Of 'Quiet' Missile-Shaped Object [PHOTO]
A Netherlands UFO sighting was captured on photo when a tourist who was taking a picture of a Muiderslot castle in the countryside realized a UFO had just flown overhead at the same instance. While reports of UFO sightings are common, the following image is different -- an expert confirmed the UFO image is not a fake.

The startled photographer is Corinne Federer, 43.
According to Federer, the image was captured over the Muiderslot Castle in the Netherlands. Federer used a Nikon D800, a special High Dynamic Range (HDR) camera, for the photograph.
"In order to create HDR images, you take three or more exposures -- this one happened to be five -- and you shoot them all at the same time, because you then overlap the images and it gives you the full spectrum of light, which your camera can't capture but your eyes can," Federer explained.
"I was shooting with a very wide angle lens Nikon 14-24 which can capture quite a large scene," wrote Federer on her blog. "It was shot with a Nikon D800 with is a 36mp camera so also very detailed when blown up. I was also shooting HDR which means I was taking multiple exposures at once. In this case it was 5 exposures. All five shots were taken within 1 second and the shutter speed on the images in question is 1/250 of a second."
"This means something would have to be moving very fast to be blurred in the scene," explained Federer. "There were no aircraft present, no vapor trails as you can see in the subsequent images. It is definitely not a bird and I've mostly rule out any insect based on the apparent distance from my position in the image. Here's where it gets more interesting. In the +1 shot, you can see it again...coming from the opposite direction!! It appears to have turned around. It seems to be traveling in the direction where the two fins are as you can see some sore of trail coming off from left to right. I've duplicated the two images where it appears and changed to greyscale and adjusted the basic settings and detail only using camera raw to get a better look."
"It is kind of creepy," said Federer.
The UFO captured features a shape similar to a missile. Unlike a missile, the UFO also features s-shaped wings or stabilizers on its end.
The UFO image was eventually handed to former FBI agent and show host of "Fact or Faked," Ben Hansen. According to Hansen, Corinne Federer's image looks authentic:
"Having reviewed the raw files, there's no overt indication that the photos have been manipulated with post editing software. The object's appearance is internally consistent with the rest of the photo. For instance, look at the darker area of the underside of the object compared with the clouds. The shadowing is similar on the underside as well as the lighting on the top of the object and the clouds where the sun is brightest. Having the sun in the frame is helpful because it indicates where shadows should appear."
While the image has been authenticated by Hansen, the mechanics of the UFO has experts stumped. According to Federer, the missile shaped Netherlands UFO did not produce any noise when it flew over.
"If it had been any type of missile, it would've had multiple fins, but facing the same direction. We heard nothing, it was completely quiet out."
While the image is real, specialists are struggling to identify what it really is. Do you think the Netherlands UFO is possibly an extraterrestrial space craft? Do you think you have a more rational explanation to what Corinne Federer has seen? Let us know in the comment section below!
