LaGuardia Crash Landing: Scary Running Gear Collapse Injures 10 On Flight 347 [VIDEOS]
LaGuardia Airport was temporarily closed on Monday when the forward landing gear of a Southwest Airlines jet collapsed during landing, causing the jet to grind against the runway tarmac.
The Nashville-to-LaGuardia Flight 345 was slated to arrive to LaGuardia Airport Terminal B just before 6 p.m. First responders immediately rushed to evacuate the crew and passengers on board. Initial reports reported that all passengers were uninjured.

Passenger Darielle Joly Breakey posted a message of relief on the Soutwest Facebook page:
"I was on the flight and would like to say that so far, we are all okay!"
"Thanks for the prayers!"
Later, LA Times reported three were injured during the evacuation. NY Daily News reported six onboard Flight 345 were escorted to the hospital for care. Finally, the Washington Post reported the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey announced a total of 10 passengers were treated for minor injuries following the LaGuardia landing gear collapse.
The Southwest Airlines Flight 345 jet is a Boeing 737 airliner.
