Usher Raymond V Hospitalized In ICU After Pool Accident: How Did Usher's Son Nearly Drown? [REPORT]

Usher's son was hospitalized on Monday after a serious pool accident. Five-year-old Usher Raymond V was rushed to the ICU after he nearly drowned at home.

According to reports, Usher's son is hospitalized in Atlanta, Georgia, after he nearly drowned when his arm got caught in the drain of the pool at about 6 p.m. Monday evening. Usher's son was playing in the water with his aunt, one of Usher's sisters, at the time.

TMZ reports that Usher Raymond V had noticed a toy at the bottom of the pool and decided to take a dive to retrieve it. Alarmingly, Usher's son's arm gets caught in the drain, trapping him underwater. Raymond V's aunt immediately jumped into the pool after him and tried to free his arm. Unfortunately, she was unable to free Usher Raymond V and desperately cried for help.

The maid rushed to the scene after hearing the cries and two men working on the house quickly followed. The men jumped into the pool and finally freed the boy. CPR was immediately performed on Usher Raymond V.

Usher was not home at the time of the incident. The 34-year-old musician and father dropped everything to rush to his Atlanta home upon hearing the urgent news. Usher Raymond V was rushed to the hospital via ambulance with the company of his famous father as well as his mother, Tameka Raymond.
