Mumbai news site dnaindia.com first reported the sighting of UFOs on August 18,2013. According to reports, there have already been more than 100 reported sightings prior to the most recent along India and China's Line of Actual Control. Due to the high rate of reports, many have grown curious. However, there have not been any official photos or concrete proof of UFOs.
"Asked about the UFO sightings by the Army troops in Ladakh sector, Defence Minister A K Antony had told Parliament that there is no conclusive proof of sighting of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) over the Sino-Indian border," reported the Indian Express.
Due to the proximity of the UFO sightings, a top Indian government official exchanged details of the report with China. "The matter was raised with China during flag meeting where they denied any knowledge and suggested we shoot them down. But that is not possible as these objects are very high up in the sky."
Finally, at least one top-level science research institute came forward with an explanation that might satisfy what the Indian troop may have seen. The high altitude and thin atmosphere of the Ladakh border area allows for objects in the sky to be seen significantly more clearly. The sightings of UFOs in the sky are in fact the alien planets Jupiter and Venus.
