Scientists have found evidence of magmatic water on the surface of the moon. In a study published in Nature Geoscience, Rachel Klima and her colleagues speculate that the water evidence they found--of magmatic water, which comes from the inside of the moon--may have formed when the moon did.

The dark spot on the sun is a cooler part of the sun's atmosphere, and is a normal occurrence which happens from time to time. Scientists don't know the cause of coronal holes.

Scientists from the California Institute of Technology say that an ocean on Mars may have existed in Aeolis Dorsa, a vast plane, using images from NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter's High-Resolution Imaging Science Experiment camera.
